Welcome to Wicklow Yoga

Yoga Classes Wicklow

We are a dedicated yoga studio based on South Quay in Wicklow Town. We offer classes in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as well as alternative therapies such as Reiki and Meditation.

We have a range of classes suitable for everybody:

  • Beginners Yoga (and of course intermediate and advanced too)
  • Private Classes
  • Pregnancy Yoga Classes
  • Pilates

We opened our doors for the first time on 21st April 2012. We would like to thank the people of Wicklow for the positive response we have had.  Our studio on South Quay is in a wonderful and easily accessible location, overlooking the Leitrim river as it meets the sea.  With views of Wicklow Town’s famous stone bridge and of the fishing boats, the water and sounds of sea birds add to the tranquility of our classes.

Parking is readily available too.

Ashtanga can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age, fitness or gender. By simply introducing a regular Yoga practice into your life, you will enjoy feeling grounded and calm, with increased confidence, a clearer mind and a more authentic, richer sense of self.

Ashtanga Vinyasa is an ancient yoga practice, it has been around for thousands of years. Although the exact history is unknown this discipline has stood the test of time, and has proven itself to be a powerful and graceful sequence. The body will become healthy, stronger and more flexible. This is only the beginning of this fascinating journey. As you advance and use the tools of Ashtanga Yoga, with a committed regular practice you become more aware and present. Practice becomes a moving meditation and the mind and senses are calmed. With this stillness you begin a journey into self-inquiry and self-reflection.

Those interested in deepening their personal knowledge of Ashtanga will have a space where like-minded individuals and teachers can support and guide each other. At the Wicklow Yoga studio, we encourage a climate in which one can cultivate ones inner growth and development, through self-reflection and a committed practice.

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe

deserve your love and affection.
